This gorilla, chimpanzee trekking, and wildlife safari is a quick but thrilling adventure through some of Uganda's most famous national parks and natural attractions.
Start in Kampala.
Day 1: Travel to Kibale National Park (Chimpanzee tracking).
Day 2: Head to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Day 3: Visit Bwindi National Park (Gorilla tracking).
Day 4: Explore Lake Bunyonyi.
Day 5: End the trip in Entebbe

Day 1: Departure from Entebbe & Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest
Start your day early with a drive from Entebbe to Kibale Forest National Park, a journey that usually takes 5 to 6 hours. Once you arrive, check in at your accommodation and have lunch.
Afterward, head to the park headquarters for a briefing. A guide will then take you into the forest for a chimpanzee trekking adventure, where you'll get to see these amazing primates in their natural environment.
In the evening, return to your lodge for dinner and rest, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the forest.
Day 2: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park & Afternoon Boat Safari
After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing through beautiful landscapes. On arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch.
In the afternoon, take a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, where you’ll likely see hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, and a variety of birds. Afterward, return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.
Day 3: Early Morning Game Drive & Transfer to Bwindi via Ishasha
Start your day with an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. You might spot elephants, lions, buffaloes, and other wildlife as they begin their day.
After the game drive, have breakfast at your lodge before heading to Bwindi Forest National Park. On the way, pass through Ishasha, known for its tree-climbing lions. Continue your journey through scenic landscapes until you arrive at Bwindi.
Day 4: Gorilla Trekking & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After an early breakfast, go to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking. Then, set off into the forest to find a gorilla family. The trek can take 2 to 7 hours, and you’ll spend about an hour with the gorillas. Afterward, return to the park headquarters and receive a certificate.
Later, travel to Lake Bunyonyi, a beautiful spot known as the "Lake of a Thousand Islands." Relax and enjoy the views.
Day 5: Transfer to Kampala or Entebbe
After breakfast, begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe. Stop in Mbarara for lunch and at the Equator for photos and souvenirs. Continue to Kampala or Entebbe, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
