Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe to Jinja

Your guide will meet you at Entebbe International Airport or at your hotel in Entebbe and provide an overview of your safari package, explaining the activities and experiences planned for the days ahead. You will then begin your scenic journey eastward from Entebbe to Jinja, Uganda’s historic riverside town renowned as the source of the Nile.

Upon arrival, you will check into a luxurious riverside cottage, where you will spend the next two nights surrounded by beautiful views and the soothing sounds of the mighty Nile River.

You will then begin your journey back to Entebbe, with a memorable stop along the way at Mabira Central Forest Reserve.

Mabira Forest Nature Walk

Covering approximately 300 square kilometres, Mabira Central Forest Reserve is one of Uganda's largest and most important tropical forests. The reserve is home to a rich diversity of wildlife, including numerous bird species, primates, butterflies, and indigenous trees.

During your guided walk, you will explore scenic forest trails winding through gently rolling terrain, stream valleys, and lush vegetation. The forest's cool atmosphere and natural beauty offer a refreshing contrast to the open landscapes encountered earlier in your journey.
