DETAILED ITINERARY
A Naseeb Safaris driver-guide will meet you at your hotel or Kigali International Airport and take you on a Kigali city tour. Highlights include a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial and Kimironko Local Market. After lunch, you will proceed to Volcanoes National Park. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge, enjoy dinner, and spend the night.
Start the day with an exciting golden monkey trekking experience in the bamboo forests, where you'll observe these rare and playful primates in their natural habitat. After the trek, enjoy a scenic drive through the beautiful rolling hills and countryside to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arriving in the evening to prepare for the unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure the following day.
After an early breakfast, you will head to the ranger station for a detailed briefing by experienced park guides about gorilla trekking rules, safety, and conservation efforts. You will then begin your trek through the dense tropical rainforest, navigating steep trails, valleys, and thick vegetation in search of a habituated gorilla family. The duration of the trek varies depending on the movement of the gorillas, making the experience even more adventurous and exciting. Once the gorillas are located, you will spend one hour observing these gentle endangered giants in their natural habitat as they feed, groom, play, and interact. This once-in-a-lifetime wildlife encounter is among Africa’s most extraordinary safari experiences. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch. Later, you may choose an optional cultural experience such as the Batwa community visit or a local coffee tour at an extra cost, or simply relax at the lodge while enjoying the peaceful forest atmosphere.
After your Breakfast, you will transfer to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, a remote and scenic wilderness area in southwestern Uganda famous for its tree-climbing lions and vast open savannah. The drive offers beautiful views of the countryside and wildlife along the way. Upon arrival, you will embark on an evening game drive in search of elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and the iconic tree-climbing lions resting in fig and acacia trees. As the sun begins to set over the plains, you will enjoy a relaxing sundowner experience, taking in the golden African sunset in one of Uganda’s most picturesque safari settings before heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After the safari, continue your journey through Queen Elizabeth National Park to your lodge, enjoying scenic landscapes and opportunities to spot more wildlife along the way. Arrive in the afternoon and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Start the day with an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park after breakfast, offering excellent opportunities to spot wildlife during their most active hours. Explore the famous Kasenyi & Queen’s Plains, renowned for their rich concentration of animals and stunning savannah scenery. Look out for elephants, lions, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, warthogs, hyenas, & more roaming freely in their natural habitat. The area is also a birdwatcher’s paradise with numerous bird species commonly seen during the drive. Your safari continues toward the scenic Lake George area, where beautiful landscapes and wildlife sightings create perfect photography. After the game drive, return to the lodge for lunch before heading out for an afternoon boat safari on the famous Kazinga Channel. The boat cruise offers close-up views of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and a variety of water birds along the shores, making it one of the highlights of any Uganda safari experience.
After breakfast, depart for Lake Mburo National Park, enjoying a scenic drive through western Uganda's picturesque countryside. Upon arrival and check-in at your lodge, head out for an evening game drive, where you may encounter zebras, impalas, buffaloes, giraffes, elands, and a variety of bird species. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Begin the day with a guided nature walk in Lake Mburo National Park, offering a unique opportunity to observe wildlife such as zebras, giraffes, impalas, and various bird species on foot. After the walk, depart for Kibale National Park, making a stop at the Uganda Equator Crossing for photos and a memorable Equator experience. Continue to Kibale, arriving in the evening for check-in and an overnight stay.
Today, enjoy an unforgettable chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale Forest National Park, renowned as the primate capital of the world. The park is home to the highest diversity of primates in Africa, including wild chimpanzees, black-and-white colobus monkeys, olive baboons, & more. Your adventure begins early in the morning with a briefing by experienced park rangers at 8:00 am about chimpanzee tracking rules and safety guidelines. You will then venture deep into the rainforest in search of habituated chimpanzee families. As you walk through the lush forest, listen to the exciting calls of chimps echoing through the trees. Once located, you will spend one hour observing them in their natural habitat as they feed, play, groom, and interact. After lunch at the lodge, continue for the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary walk, a rich eco-tourism site famous for bird watching and primate viewing. Look out for the Great Blue Turaco and several monkey species in this scenic wetland paradise.
After breakfast, depart for Murchison Falls National Park, enjoying a scenic drive through Uganda's diverse landscapes, passing rural communities, tea plantations, and rolling countryside. Arrive at the park in the afternoon, check in to your lodge, and spend the rest of the day relaxing while preparing for the exciting wildlife experiences awaiting you the following day.
After breakfast, set out for an exciting early morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and most wildlife-rich safari destination. Explore the rolling savannah plains in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and a variety of bird species. Return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch before heading out for a memorable afternoon boat cruise along the Nile River to the base of the mighty Murchison Falls. Along the way, enjoy incredible sightings of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, and colorful water birds on the riverbanks. For adventure lovers, continue with a guided hike to the top of the falls, where you’ll witness the Nile forcefully crashing through a narrow gorge. The hike is rewarding and offers breathtaking views, making it one of the highlights of any Uganda safari experience. Return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.
After breakfast, depart Murchison Falls National Park and begin your journey to Entebbe, stopping at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided rhino tracking experience on foot. After the visit, continue to Entebbe, arriving later in the day for your onward flight or overnight stay, marking the end of your safari adventure.
